The Spanish churro is a long,
cake-like, pastry made from our specfially blended
flour and cooked in 100% olive oil. Once Churros are
cooked, they're soft on the inside, and crispy golden
brown on the outside. In Spain, churros are eaten
plain or rolled in cinnamon sugar. We call our traditional
style churros, Churritos. Churritos are served in
3-packs, 6-packs, and 12-packs either in the traditional
Spanish style or drizzled with chocolate and dulce
de leche. They are also the key element in our delicious
splits and sundaes.
At Churrisimo Café we also
serve our specialty churros named the Churrisimo.
A Churrisimo is made from the same fluffy batter as
the Churrito, but it’s larger and hollow in
the centre. We stuff it while it's still hot with
your choice of rich chocolate, dulce de leche, bavarian
cream, or divine
fruit filling.
To create a Churrisimo Supremo,
we load our basic Churrisimo up with two generous
servings of whipped cream, drizzled with a generous
helping of chocolate and dulce de leche over the entire
platter, and garnish it with sprinkles. Enjoy your
Spanish desserts at one of Canada's finest cafés.
